Diaper Safari New One Size Pocket Diaper Review and GIVEAWAY

I recently had the privilege to test out the New Diaper Safari One Size Pocket Diaper. The diaper comes in snap closure, is made of PUL and comes with one microfiber insert that consist of 4 layers. It fits from 7-35+ pounds with 3 rise settings. Small rise fits 7-15 pounds, medium rise fits 16-22 pounds, large rise fits from 23-35+ pounds. On the inside, it has very soft fleece to wick away moisture from baby's bottom and 2 pocket openings to stuff the insert. The insert does not have to be removed from the diaper because it will agitate out of the wash for you :)

At first, I thought I wasn't going to like the diaper because I'm so used to buying diapers that come with two inserts and I thought it might leak. I was wrong! This diaper is great! Especially, for the price of only $13.95!! Although, I do not recommend it for overnight unless you add an additional insert or prefold. My son didn't get any leaks! The insert holds the urine very well. The fit was great and he didn't get any red marks, thanks to the gentle elastic around the legs and back! Although, don't be fooled by the gentle elastics and think they won't hold up! Or should I say hold in? My son had actually took this awkward poop that went to the side opposed to the usual and it reached to the elastic, but the elastic contained it all in the diaper! I was truly amazed because I've used more expensive diapers and the poop crept out of them. Also, I was impressed with the insert agitating on it's own in the wash! I had to put it to the test to see if it really did and how long it would take. It took less then 30 seconds when I stopped the wash to check if it came out and to my surprise, it did! I have a top loader washer, by the way, and I'm not to sure if it will do the same for a front loader. One thing that I thought was odd, was when you have the snap crossed over like in the first picture showing the small rise, the hip snap can be snapped down but it looks a little awkward. Although, it doesn't effect it whatsoever and doesn't look terrible.

Great fit!

Soft elastic!

Usually they say, "You get what you pay for", but with this diaper you get more than what you pay for! I'll be honest, though this isn't the best diaper ever, but it's works good especially for the price! I believe it's great for any family on a budget or a family who would like to save even more using cloth diapers.

  3. I really like the quality for the price. I have some of these and I too was pleasantly surprised. I don't like that they only come with 1 insert... but I just added a hemp to all of mine and they work like a charm. Rachelle Betow abetow7484@msn.com

    1. Do you get leaks if you only USSR one insert? I was very surprised with using only one and not getting any!

  4. I love that they offer so many bright beautiful colors and that there are hip snaps. It's really annoying when a diaper sags at the waist! Thanks for the giveaway! Anne Sweden

  8. I like that I'm not having to touch dirty inserts! Honestly, I'm dying to try these, because I have a love/hate relationship with cloth diapers. I love pockets, but all the popular ones that everyone raves on I end up not liking lol!
